What must the activity contain in order for it to be carried out?
A room where we can sit on a mat. Tactile props for the fairy tale "Three Billy Goats Gruff," as well as the tactile book about "Three Billy Goats Gruff."
Objectives of the activity:
Familiarize with the fairy tale "Three Billy Goats Gruff."
Working method/activity
We sit down on the mat and begin the activity by singing the song "Three Billy Goats Gruff." We use tactile signs while singing. Afterwards, the child gets to feel the book, and we talk about reading a book - a fairy tale about "Three Billy Goats Gruff."
Then we start the storytelling. While reading, we let the child play with the props that come up in the story. We often use tactile signs for the different goats and the troll. The child also joins in your movements as you illustrate the tripping over the bridge and the fight between the goats.
After the story is finished, we sing the "Three Billy Goats Gruff" song again and use tactile signs while singing. The activity concludes with us together saying we're finished reading the book about the "Three Billy Goats Gruff" fairy tale.
